Heat, a joke,
and a real workout.
Jay Gardam built Wynroy so the hour belongs to you. Sweat is the point. The counting is questionable on purpose. Beginners get an option before they have to ask.
From the class
What the room actually looks like.
Jay teaching, then the room doing the work. Hot Vinyasa, about 40 degrees. Take the option if you need it. The count lasts as long as the room needs.

Exhausting. Then you book again.
The heat is real.
Infrared, about 40°. Heart rate up, muscles loose, inbox quieter. Yin and a room-temperature flow are there if today is not a heat day.
The count is a bit loose.
Students have clocked it. The hold lasts as long as the room needs, not as long as the number said. That is the joke, and the work.
Options, out loud.
First class or five hundredth. Take the knee, skip the bind, stay. Nobody is performing. The mat is the practice.
“A loyal victim of Jay’s questionable counting and challenging classes. I keep coming back.”
“Think Bikram heat, with fun and challenging Vinyasa flows. It’s literally my favourite place.”
Why the sign says Wynroy
Named for two people who never walked in.
Wynroy is Winifred and Roy, put together. Married 11 March 1936. Jay never met them. The studio is how he keeps them in the room, and how other people get an hour that belongs to them. The first Saturday after that date is open day.
